Description
Askew Stone Works was established in 1911 by W.W. Askew and continued operation by that name through the leadership of his son, G.J. “Jiggs” Askew. In 1984 Eugene and Tammy Petersen began the third generation of local ownership, renaming the company Askew-Petersen Stone Works, Inc. To better identify the full range of products and services the company provides, they do business as Askew-Petersen Monuments. In 2024 the Petersens sold their business to a local family, Caleb and Alicia Massey.
